Palamedes - a JavaScript dice roller and probability calculator

Portrait of Palamedes designed as a medal from the book Promptuarii Iconum Insigniorum (1553) by Guillaume Rouille.Palamedes invented dice, which inspired the formal development of probability theory by Cardano, Pascal and Fermat. Back in the 4th century BC, the philosopher Gorgias wrote the Defense of Palamedes, the archetype of the modern legal argument, which uses an informal version of probability theory and Bayesian belief networks. Therefore, this software, which combines a dice roller, probability calculator and Bayesian belief network inference engine, is dedicated to Palamedes.
